Treasure Map: Project Campfire

Today, I'll be streaming (and am currently streaming) the start of the creation of what I'm calling "Project Campfire", this will be a web app that will be a story tellers assistant, designed to make it easy to do Asynchronous Collaborative and "Massively Multiplayer" stories.

For Storytellers

Create a universe, with locations, characters, artifacts, actions, and storylines. To be able to interact with and sequentially edit and progress the various stories that you have going on within the universe. Storytellers can act out their own stories, or invite actors to play the roles of characters.

For Actors

Provide intentions to the characters in a story, have conversations with other actors through their characters, and find out the results of their intentions from the storyteller, watching as their story grows.

For Writers

Tools for helping to turn storylines into stories with a consistent voice and interesting narrative and writing style.

Imagine

Turn based table top Role Playing Game epics, but with a log and a story that you come back to, share, and even publish.
